Exciting News to share!

Congratulations to Emily Thouless who was selected for the Michigan School Band and Orchestra Association Middle School Honors Band!  Emily auditioned for this honors band back in October, and recently found out that she was selected to be one of the members.  It is very competitive to get in, and not only that, Emily was placed in “first chair” for her bass clarinet section.  On January 19 through 21^st, Emily will go to Grand Rapids to rehearse with the honors band and then perform in a concert at the Michigan Music Conference.  Congratulations to Emily on this huge achievement!

IB program for upcoming 9^th grade students - 

As part of launching the IB Diploma Programme (DP) at Huron for the fall of 2017, two parent/family transitional events are approaching.  I hope you'll help to spread the word.
