Good news and reminders for the week:
Dedication at A2 STEAM: Thank you to the many families who attended this fabulous event. We appreciate all that Dr. Swift and the Board of Education has done to help transform our school. We appreciate
Effective Ways to Encourage Student Excitement for STEM at home
Steamy Activities for Halloween Monday,
October 31st
At A2 STEAM we choose to celebrate by hosting
fun STEAMY activities in the classroom.
We ask that costumes stay home for your evening activities. Thank you.
Clothing: Fall is upon us, so the weather
changes daily. Please make sure that your child is dressed for the changing
weather; sweatshirt, sweater, jackets, etc should be worn to school. We always go outside for recess, even in a
light rain.
Building Wide Parent Teacher Conferences will take place Monday . Have you scheduled your conference yet?
We want 100% attendance at Fall conferences. MSTEP, NWEA, Benchmark assessments
& student goals will be shared at these conferences.
Lost & Found: Please check the
bins by the cafeteria for missing clothing. Always label your child’s clothes
in case they do misplace them on school grounds.
Tuesday, November 8th: School will be closed due to Election Day and Report Card Writing
for teachers. Please mark your
calendars.
Cell phones in
school: Another reminder
to that all cell phones must remain in students backpacks/ lockers all day
until students are dismissed and outside.
Students are taking them out during the day and or keeping them in their
pocket which will result in them being taken and a parent will need to pick
them up.
